Ely Cathedral

Ely used to be an island, before the Dutch drained the water out. The cathedral was known as ‘The Ship of the Fens,’ because it rose above the water like a ship. Here are some photos of the cathedral:

  1. Ely Cathedral vis huge isn’t it. Interesting Ely has a cathedral & Cambridge doesn’t.

  2. I liked Ely. Old! I remember seeing a small three-wheel truck out the back of Ely Cathedral.
