Bunting and Punting

This morning we went down to the breakfast buffet in the hotel, but because of covid, we had to order our food and they brought it out so we could eat it in our room.

Here’s what some of us ordered.

After breakfast, we walked into the centre of town, to the edge of the River Cam. We decided to go punting on the river, so we had booked a tour for that morning. The boat could fit 12 people in it, so it had plastic dividers between different households, but there was only one other couple on the boat. The punt was about an hour long. We went under 9 bridges and saw many of the 31 colleges in Cambridge.

This is me on the boat!

  1. That would have been relaxing having a tour on the river. I might have gone to sleep! The hotel we last stayed at in Cambridge was on the river. Do you remember? You probably went in the other direction on your tour.
