Cardiff Bay

Today we walked to Cardiff Bay. We got some more Welsh cakes on the way. We went to Roald Dahl Plass, which is a plaza near a Norwegian church where Dahl was christened.

We also went to Cardiff Castle. We saw the cannons and trebuchets, as well as a clocktower built by the same person who built Big Ben. Underneath the tower is a dungeon where martyrs were kept before they were killed.

These carved animals are found on the ‘Animal Wall’ around the castle.
