Today we went to the Tropical Spice Gardens. Abby and Jamie called it a jungle, which I guess it was.

We saw some squirrels and lizards and lots of different spice plants. We could smell them as soon as we walked through the gate.

When we arrived the lady gave us some lemon grass spray to put on ourselves to keep the insects away. We still smelt nice hours later!

At the very end of the Spice Garden is a giant snakes and ladders game.

They call it “Slides and Ladders” but it truly was SNAKES and ladders because right there on the net that stops you falling off was a SNAKE!!!!! It was yellow and black. Lucky I want to be a wildlife warrior so I wasn’t scared a bit!
